In early January 2020, CHINT team received the first enquiry from Sterling and Wilson Solar Limited about two 275KV / 300MVA transformers for a 400MW Australian Solar Plant, and timely gave feedback with optimized design.
In order to provide customers with the most suitable solution, CHINT team submitted seven sets of technical proposals during the period. The professionalism and prompt service was appreciated by the customer.
Finally, after around 6 months of follow-up, CHINT and S&W reached a cooperation agreement in July.
In the process of project implementation, despite the great challenges of international shipping line and global material increase during world pandemic period.
CHINT team still has delivered efficient cooperation and professional services at every urgent step. At the end of March 2021, two 275KV / 300MVA transformers were able to be delivered smoothly.
This project is a breakthrough of Australian market in high-voltage products between CHINT Global and Sterling and Wilson Solar Limited, an Indian based global EPC company.
