CHINT Italy at K.EY: Solutions for PV Systems in Residential, C&I and Utility

CHINT Italy at KEY

CHINT Italy participated in K.EY, the benchmark event for renewable energy, from March 22-24 at the Rimini Exhibition Center as an exhibitor (booth No. 126, Hall D3) where they presented their solutions for residential, C&I and industrial photovoltaics.

During the event, CHINT Italy offered visitors an immersive experience at their booth, where they could touch CHINT’s “Total PV Solution“. A real photovoltaic system for residential and commercial settings was simulated on a single display wall, including photovoltaic modules and their supports, inverters with storage, a string switchboard, a main switchboard, and a charging station for electric vehicles with Power Management Solar.

Visitors had the opportunity to explore four display islands, including the island of photovoltaic modules, inverters with and without storage, string and AC-side switchboards, and an island dedicated to e-mobility, where the most technologically advanced solutions for charging electric vehicles were displayed.

At the booth, visitors were introduced to a customized CEI 0-21-compliant Parallel Switchboard with an interface device for low-voltage connected PV systems up to 1000 kW, the “big brother” of the CHINT range of Parallel Switchboards with AC-side power ratings from 50 kW to 100 kW.

The CHINT Power Station, a SHELTER-type metal outdoor electrical transformer substation for application in photovoltaic systems and fields, was also introduced to visitors. It was divided internally into three rooms, including a medium voltage switchboard room with a medium voltage cell, a low voltage switchboard room with a parallel protection switchboard, and a transformer room with a 1000 kVA LV/MV transformer/elevator. It was equipped with an inspectable floating floor (excluding transformer room), grounding system, monitoring and safety signs, internal lighting system for each room, and vacuum system on transformer room.

CHINT Italy also brought to the stand the “Pollinate the Planet” project, the result of a collaboration with 3Bee, which allowed a beekeeper in Puglia to have a remote monitoring device for one year. The device allowed the beekeeper to know in real-time the fundamental parameters for the health of the hive, such as sounds, noises, vibrations, weight, humidity, and temperature. The initiative was narrated at the booth through a video and a dedicated totem, and special eco-friendly giveaways were available for all visitors.
