CHINT Enters “Local Supplier Club” as Mexico 115kV Transformer – Pemex Project is Delivered

CHINT Mexico 115kV Transformer Pemex Project

At the end of 2022, CHINT delivered two 115kV power transformers for the EI Paredon substation of Pemex, Mexico’s largest oil company, which arrived at the destination smoothly. Facing the professional service of the CHINT Mexican team, the client signed the acceptance letter on-site.

The project was completed in 8 months, with a delivery cycle that was 3 times shorter than that of local suppliers. This has saved time and cost for the client company in its rapid expansion, helping them achieve their fast production goal.

This marks the first time that CHINT Mexico has secured an order from a top local customer in the oil and gas industry locally, since its subsidiary set a strategic goal to enter the industry in 2021. With this success, CHINT’s brand and products have successfully entered the “local supplier club”.

Through this project, CHINT has trained a group of review engineers, project execution teams, and local service teams familiar with local power industry standards and oil and gas industry practices. This has enabled CHINT to build a talent pool in advance for future orders from the Mexican National Power Company, and in the future, CHINT will provide professional and comprehensive solutions for the entire energy industry chain in Mexico.
