A few days ago, CHINT Global received the notice of award for the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) with the contract amount exceeding 100 million yuan. This is the third time in two consecutive years that CHINT Global has won the bid for the EPC project of the Philippines National Grid, with a total bid of about 700 million yuan.
The project is located in Mindanao, southern Philippines, and CHINT is responsible for the upgrade and transformation of four 138kV substations there. At the same time, CHINT’s 138kV and below equipment has also been accredited of NGCP, and the primary equipment of 138kV and below in the project basically uses CHINT’s related products.
