Data centers have incredibly high standards for power distribution products. In the domestic data center medium and low voltage power supply and distribution market, foreign brands are still the mainstream. However, with the changes and development of the international environment, in order to build a more solid information security “barrier”, more and more data centers are actively promoting the construction of a benign ecosystem in terms of critical technologies and localization of equipment.
Therefore, Noark actively explores to create a series of solutions for Internet data centers, strictly guarantees the continuity of power supply and improves the efficiency of power utilization. With its professional advantages such as innovative research and development, flexible manufacturing, and complete independent control, it has become the first non-foreign brand low-voltage circuit breaker partner in Alibaba base-type projects, and successfully landed in Shanghai Jinshan.
The total investment of the project is about 3.46 billion dollars, which is a major industrial project at the Shanghai level. It is proposed to build 6 5-story data centers, 2 8-story data centers, 1 4-story operation and maintenance management center, and some ancillary facilities.
Technology comes first
During the bidding, Noarkused a more flexible modular design to create a smarter and more energy-efficient power distribution system solution. In the end, the 6-panel factories that adopted Noark’s solution stood out among the manufacturers through fierce competition.
This cooperation mainly involves the Ex9 series low-voltage components developed and produced by Noark. Its features of high performance and miniaturization not only help customers save box space and cost, but also reflect the achievements of Noark’scontinuous innovation and research in line with the development trend of the industry, insight into customer needs, and continuous innovation.
Independent R&D, flexible manufacturing
Noark attaches great importance to the investment in the R&D system. In the past three years, the R&Dinvestment has exceeded 11 million dollars, and the R&D personnel accounts for more than 10%. At present, it has applied for 169 intellectual property rights and actively participated in the formulation of more than 20 national and industry standards.
The products used in this project were all made inNoak’s high-end electrical intelligent factory, with innovative R&D, flexible design and manufacturing, and completely independent and controllable. The whole process is monitored by the MES system, and each process unit is automatically tested according to the predetermined procedure.
The product development cycle is shortened by more than 22%, the off-line pass rate reaches 100%, and all products are traceable. From management to production, from efficiency to quality,they all reflect the strong strength and perfect service of Noark as a mature power distribution enterprise of Noark’scontinuous innovation.
