Recently, Mr. Gu Gongshen, minister counsellor of China in South Korea, and his delegation met with the representatives of CHINT Global in charge of Korean market, as well as the CEO of CHINT’s distributors in South Korea and their partners.
The two sides discussed issues on investment plans in the environment of China and South Korea, the development history of CHINT Global in South Korea, and matters related to the establishment of a CHINT Global subsidiary in South Korea in 2022. There is a long way to go yet a promising future can be expected. This meeting has achieved the following preliminary results. The South Korean embassy said they would provide sufficient suggestions and opinions for CHINT Global to establish a subsidiary in South Korea.
CHINT would also join the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in South Korea after the establishment of the South Korean subsidiary, and promote the in-depth cooperation between CHINT and Chinese enterprises in South Korea. Meanwhile, CHINT Korea will cooperate with the embassy to make more contributions to public welfare activities.
In South Korea, CHINT has become a well-known local solar energy product distributor and power station developer and has participated in the construction of more than 100MW power stations. Among them, the 9MW photovoltaic project at Crucian Island in Chuncheon City, Gangwon Province has become a local symbol.
With the help of the “One Belt, One Road” policy, CHINT Global faced difficulties under the epidemic, expanded its overseas territory against the trend, and accelerated the pace of “Going Global”. At present, it has established three global R&D centers in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, 5 major international marketing areas, 22 international subsidiaries, and 22 international logistics centers, providing products and services to more than 140 countries and regions.
