The first 10KW grid-connected solar energy system has been installed at the National University for Nationalities, the largest national comprehensive university in Uzbekistan. Donated by CHINT DISTRIBUTION LLC, a CHINT distributor in Uzbekistan, the system will provide a more stable and safe power supply equipment for the school building, also a practical teaching case for the study of solar energy system for 1,500 teachers and students in the department of mechanical and electrical engineering of the university.

Also as the first grid-connected system after the Uzbekistan government officially launched the green energy tariff, the project was supported by DOE, Higher Education Department, Industry Federation and Investment Promotion Departments in Uzbekistan. Leaders from the above departments and school principals attended the donation ceremony and delivered speeches.
