The Covid-19 is spreading all over the world, causing a serious impact on the global economy in 2020. Brazil, located in South America, is also affected by it. Though special period, CHINT Brazil team turned the trend and successfully won the 145kV GIS power station project in Sao Paulo, empowering the development of Brazil's electric power. The 145kV GIS equipment will take root in Sao Paulo, Brazil and fulfil its mission after a 40-day journey across the sea.
CHINT Global has been deeply engaged in Brazil for decades to be more localized and tried its best to integrate into the local culture and cultivate common values. It has established a number of first-level strategic customers with a shared vision. TSEA is one of them, as one of the largest transformer manufacturers in Brazil.
This project is the first landing project of strategic cooperation between CHINT and Brazil TSEA, which has successfully filled the blank in Brazil's GIS market. The project was signed in the second half of 2020. With the support of the client and the efforts of all CHINT staff, the project overcame many obstacles such as standards and technology and took several months to be officially delivered in January 2021.
CHINT Global has also successfully provided high-quality, reliable and intelligent equipment suppliers for Brazil's power plants by virtue of the project, which has further enhanced mutual trust and cooperation between the two sides and laid a good foundation for deepening cooperation.
In the future, CHINT Global will continue to strengthen cooperation and exploration with TESA in the field of comprehensive smart energy, and jointly explore business models such as joint development and joint investment of domestic and foreign projects, so as to create greater business value for both sides.
