Catching the world by surprise, COVID-19 has hit over 210 countries and regions, affected more than seven billion people around the world and claimed over 300,000 precious lives. Now we're still facing a severe situation. "Stand together through storm and stress." Up to now, CHINT has donated medical supplies to more than 20 overseas regions and will make continuous contributions in the global fighting against the pandemic.
On May 12, 15,000 masks and 300 protective suits donated by CHINT to Sri Lanka arrived at the prime minister's office to support the local people and military in combating the Coronavirus outbreak. The thanks-letter from the prime minister's office read sincere appreciation and high respect for CHINT's kind gesture, as well as continued corporation and support in the future.
In Latin America, after receiving the goggles and protective clothing donated by CHINT, KETPLUS, CHINT's distributor in Guatemala, immediately contacted several hospitals XELA San Juan de Dios, Roosevelt, San Juan de Dios-Guatemala City, IGSS which were in shortage of local epidemic prevention materials and delivered the materials to the front-line medical staff.
After receiving the medical supplies, these angels in white who have been standing on the front line of the fight against the epidemic expressed their thanks to CHINT for its great love and active social responsibility in front of the camera. Thanks to this kindness, they have been able to protect more local compatriots from the epidemic. So far, CHINT has contributed more than one hundred sets of goggles and protective clothing, and the donation will continue this week.
