On June 6th, the Mato Grosso delegation of the Consulate-General of Brazil in Shanghai and ABSOLAR visited CHINT Group for inspection and exchange.
Represented by companies operating in the construction, electrical engineering and industrial & commercial fields, the 18-people delegation visited CHINT Exhibition Hall, CHINT Power, CHINT Electric and Noark, with further business projects cooperation such as MRV Group, Insole, as well as expanding the application of PV new energy in Brazil local market. Sales team from Latin American region also introduced CHINT key performance in Solar KIT and GD Project , its 3-years’ progress and business model in Brazil market.
Located in the central and western part of Brazil, Mato Grosso is the third largest state and the largest exporter of bulk commodities. The state has rich potential in PV power generation, relying on its advantageous geographical location and abundant natural resources such as freshwater, gold, diamonds, silicon and granite. It is estimated that by 2024, the installed capacity of PV power generation in Brazil will exceed 7GW.
Jean R.M Taruhn, consul of the Consulate-General of Brazil in Shanghai, sent a thank you letter to CHINT after the visit, expressing gratitude to CHINT's contribution in Brazilian PV market, and willingness to continuous support the development of CHNT brand in Brazil. He also pointed out that with the increasing trade between China and Brazil, more and more Brazilian enterprises expect cooperative partnerships with Chinese electrical companies in developing new energy business between the two economies.
